Stay WOKE Club Congressional Recognition

Vista High School’s STAY Woke Club youth volunteers recently received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Levin. We are so proud of our students and young advocates.

STAY Woke is a tobacco prevention and advocacy club at Vista High School.  Advocates, 15-17 years old, meet weekly to learn about tobacco use, trends and ways they can make a difference with their peers and the community. It has flourished at VHS into a dedicated group of 8 leaders with a passion for volunteerism. Together they are shedding a light on how the tobacco and vape industry has manipulated young people and minority groups.
