Parking Permits

To obtain a Vista High School Student Parking Permit please complete the REQUIRED items:

1. Register to attend the California Highway Patrol Start Smart Newly Licensed Driver Program and obtain a certification of completion. 
  •   See VHS Calendar of Events for available dates, also all posted flyers around school bulletin boards and front office. 
  • Email Office Manager Leah Power at to to reserve your spot with the date requested to attend to confirm availability. 


2. Complete current school year Parking Regulations Form.
3. Visit the Front Office (park your car in the front lot) between 7:30am-8:00am or during free periods and bring the following: 
  • CHP Start Smart Certification of Completion Certificate 
  • Completed and Signed Parking Regulations Form 
  • Driver's License 
  • Proof of valid car insurance 
  • Valid car registration 


4. Ask the Front Office Receptionist politely that you'd like to submit documents for a Parking Permit, they will have a Campus Security log your information and assign a parking permit which will be placed on your vehicle by Campus Security.
