Wellness Center

 

 

The goal of the Wellness Center is to support students in leading healthy and balanced lives. The Wellness Center is designed to help students improve their self-awareness and relationship skills through classroom instruction, outreach (“coaching”), and restorative practices. The center focuses on helping students manage their emotions and impulsivity, increase their empathy and improve their ability to make responsible decisions. The Wellness Center is staffed by wellness teachers who work closely with the Health Office, school counselors, social workers, school psychologists, and administrators.

Contact Information

Students looking to speak to a Wellness Center Coach should ask a teacher for a referral to the Wellness Center. Coaches will go pick up students from their class and bring them to the Wellness Center. There are no walk-ins to the Wellness Center. If needed, wellness will refer students to their school counselors for more support and/or resources.
